Break Bread LA Exhibition

Over the weekend, I went to an art exhibition called Break Bread LA at the Think Tank Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. If you are familiar with the Broad, the ticketing system at Think Tank is very similar. Simply go onto the exhibit’s website and reserve tickets. The best part is that it’s completely free. There are some really cool things to see in this exhibit, including two small corridors that look like they’re completely made out of cake (not real cake, unfortunately; the materials the artists used are foam and acrylic). Other highlights include a little mirror maze and a light tunnel that changes from fire to rain.

Check out this video of the artists explaining the basics and concepts behind the art they created.

My sister took it upon herself to take some photos of us, so below is a gallery of the pictures she took along with some of my pictures as well.

Overall, I would highly recommend going to this exhibit. The only downside is that it’s hard to find parking around the area that isn’t at an outrageous price, but it’s LA. What can you expect?
